Director / Civil Engineer
Tashfiq Mahmud (Tash) is the director and lead engineer at UCS. Tash has been practicing as an engineer for several years obtaining valuable industry wide knowledge and experience from the various reputable consultancies he has worked for. During this time, Tash has delivered on numerous projects ranging from minor home extensions all the way through to multi-million-dollar State owned assets for Sydney Trains, Transport for NSW (TfNSW), Sydney Water and more. In addition to design and project delivery, Tash has mentored student, graduate, and junior engineers in his previous roles, elevating their technical abilities whilst providing valuable industry insight. Throughout his career, Tash has worked as an engineer for the following firms:

- Gilcon Structural Engineers
- G.J. McDonald Consulting Engineers
